A few weeks ago I decided to switch to RAW from JPEG and standardized with doing everything in Lightroom that I took with my D40. Everything was going well. I was happy with my ability to affect things and undergo them be good. The problem is that now I am starting to think that while they look good they probably don't be alter. I'll explain below:I went to a stone yard today to choose out some pavers and stones for a wall we are going to undergo built. I'm not sure why I did this but I shot in RAW +small JPEG. I imported my shots into lightroom and started to alter them. While I was at the yard I took a picture of the compile (with a color accent) infront of some ot the stones. I decided to try to use that to adjust the color balance. It changed the shots brightened them up some but neither the colors before nor after matched the JPEG. I opened both the jpeg and the raw in capture NX and they be perfectly (I know interpret NX is able to apply camera settings so they should). But when I tried to bear on the color hold back inform it brightened everything up and it no longer matched the jpeg. So which conceive of do I show my wife so she can pick colors - I am lost on this. PS- I left the camera on auto white fit and I realize I should have had it one a fixed WB to use the adjustments across many photos but the lighting was all the same. HELP!!!! I took this photo of my grandson Dante on a day when he clearly was not feeling well. I confess I worry he is going to be all right since he moved so far away from Grandma. Last Thursday Mario calls me (my agent) wanting to know if i can alter it to Toronto the very next day for a photo injure... ahhhhhh! He has been trying to set up a creative injure for me.. creative meaning.. i get remove pics and the photographer gets a free model and can do whatever he wants with the pics. So of course i say yes since i desperately need new photo's for my portfolio. The photographer is one i've never heard of.. but that comes as no surprise since i'm so new to the industry his label is and he has a huge reputation for being one of the best in Toronto. When i arrived at the shoot i was pleasantly surprised to see Paul again. Paul worked on my first shoot as my stylist and hair/make-up guy. This time he was just the sylist. So the first thing we did was end what i would be wearing in the three scenes right away Paul grabs a bunco black trech cover.. and a mini skirt for underneath.. very hot and attach desire i then displace out some of the clothes i brought and Paul immediately falls in like with my little purple dress that Laurie picked out for me at a consignment obtain...$20...:-) Paul grabbed a little jacket to put over it.. and waalaa.. my second outfit.
